We saw a ship today! Normally, you wouldn't care, but it was the first sign of human life we have seen in 2 weeks! We couldn't see a flag or a name on the boat, but I was able to make out the characters "7PNG" on it's side. I have no idea what that means. It was heading southeast, likely for South America or an island of some sort. We turned on our radio to channel 16, but didn't hear any radio chatter from them.
I've had Bohemian Rhapsody in my head the entire time reading this.
I found out from Wikipedia that Nuku Hiva was the site for Survivor: Marquesas, the fourth installment of the popular CBS reality television show.
Again no fish today. 900 miles to go.
