St. Maarten: Day 4

November 18, 2012

Why did the iguana cross the road?

Charlotte took me to Mullet Bay Beach today. It was such a nice beach and didn't have the pain of airplanes kicking up sand every few minutes like Maho Beach. The water glowed a turquoise-blue colour and the sand was incredibly soft.

A couple Dutch friends that I met at the party last night showed up and joined us on the beach.

We stayed until sunset and watched the water glow brighter and brighter as the sun went down.

We had dinner at BB's just down the road from Mullet Bay Beach. Supposedly grilled meat is a specialty here and that is what they served at BB's. It was delicious.

Charlotte and I went to La Bamba that night (the place with the fire pit on the beach), it was 'Rock Night', so they had a band covering a whole bunch of rock classics.
