The time has finally come for my first ocean (blue water) passage.
I will be on a 49' Beneteau as part of the 2012 NARC Rally from Newport, Rhode Island to Bermuda, and then down to St. Maarten. It is a 12-year-old rally of about 10 boats this year that all head down to the Caribbean together at the beginning of the Winter season.
I am flying down to New York City on Oct. 24th and meeting up with the Captain early to get the boat all set up and sail it to Newport for the big event.
